N600m fraud: PSC director fails to meet bail condition

The Director of Administration at the Police Service Commission, Emmanuel Ibe, who was arrested over an alleged N600m fraud by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission last week, is still in custody based on his inability to meet the bail condition.

Sources close to Ibe told our correspondent that the EFCC told him to provide a surety who was on the level of director at the Federal Civil Service and had property in Abuja.

He was also required to submit his passport.

However, the suspect, who is the President of the Police Service Commission Cooperative Society, has not been able to meet the condition.
