The House of Representatives is already using the report of the 2014 National Conference as a guide for the ongoing amendment of the 1999 Constitution, The PUNCH learnt on Tuesday.
Investigations indicated that its Special Ad Hoc Committee on Constitution Review had already incorporated some aspects of the conference report into some of the bills it had considered.
The committee is chaired by the Deputy Speaker of the House, Mr. Yusuf Lasun.
Findings showed that the House no longer found it necessary to pass a resolution requesting the Presidency to submit the report to lawmakers afresh since the ad hoc committee had begun using part of the content.
