The Acting President, Yemi Osinbajo, on Thursday, condemned the wanton loss of lives and property as a result of the recent communal conflict between the Wanikade and Wanihem communities in the Yala Local Government Area of Cross River State.
He has therefore directed security agencies to take urgent measures to avert a further breakdown of law and order.
The directive was contained in a statement by the Senior Special Assistant to the Acting President on Media and Publicity, Mr. Laolu Akande.
