At the valedictory session marking the second anniversary of the 8th Senate on Friday, the controversy over President Muhammadu Buhari’s failure to remove Mr. Ibrahim Magu as Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission was reopened.

The lawmaker said this in the presence of prominent guests at the special session, including two former Senate Presidents, Pius Anyim and Iyorcha Ayu; Governor of Kebbi State, Senator Atiku Bagudu; Chairman, Board of Trustees of the Peoples Democratic Party, Senator Walid Jibrin; National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress, Chief John Odigie-Oyegun; and wife of the incumbent Senate President, Mrs. Toyin Saraki.
