The Lagos State Government on Sunday said operatives of the Lagos State Taskforce on Environmental and Special Offences (Enforcement) Unit would from Monday (today) move against all motorists engaging in illegal commercial activities under bridges at the Ojuelegba and Ikeja areas.
The Chairman of the agency, SP Olayinka Egbeyemi, said the unit had already served a 48-hour notices to quit on those concerned.
He said, “The operation will affect motorists engaging in illegal commercial activities in Ojuelegba and its environs, as well as the ones in Ikeja under bridge, Ipodo Market and Awolowo Way. But we expect that they would have vacated the areas because they were served notices to quit.
