The Federal Executive Council on Wednesday approved a contract for the rehabilitation of the Ikorodu-Sagamu Road which links Lagos State to Ogun State.
The Minister of Information and Culture, Alhaji Lai Mohammed, disclosed this to State House correspondents at the end of the council’s meeting presided over by President Muhammadu Buhari at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.
Mohammed put the cost of the rehabilitation contract at N2bn.
He said the rehabilitation would reduce accidents and travel time on the road.
