The Lagos Division of the Court of Appeal on Monday affirmed the five years’ imprisonment imposed on nine foreign nationals, who were in 2015 convicted of stealing 3,423.097 metric tonnes of crude oil from Nigeria.
Among the convicts are five Filipinos and four Bangladeshi.
They are Axel Joseph Gibo Jabone; MD Zahirul Islam; Juanito Camireno Infantado; Suarin Fernando Alave and Gatila Jaypee Gadayan.
