The Zone ‘C’ Coordinator of the Nigeria Prisons Service, ACG Bala Isgogo, has ordered the immediate removal of the officer in-charge of Yola Prison, DCP Abubakar Abaka and a nurse, SP John Bukar, for alleged complicity in the unauthorised medical report on the former Adamawa State governor, Bala Ngilari.
It was learnt that the officers had been issued queries for their roles in the bail granted to Ngilari on health grounds after he had been jailed for five years for corruption by an Adamawa State High Court.
Isgogo in a statement on Tuesday said the two officers would also be interrogated to determine their level of culpability in the incident.
