The Kaduna State Governor, Mallam Nasir el-Rufai, has said his administration adopted the Treasury Single Account policy to plug leakages and wastages
and to promote financial discipline.
El-Rufai said the policy had enhanced the liquidity position of the government and made it easier to trace and audit accounts in the state.
The governor’s Special Assistant on Media and Publicity, Mr. Samuel Aruwan, in a statement quoted el-Rufai to have said this in Lagos during the International
Monetary Fund’s West Africa workshop on TSA implementation.
