The Coalition Against Corrupt Leaders (CACOL) has called on the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) to be diligent and focused in investigating all suspects before it and to ensure that the culprit(s) faces full wrath of the law.
The group which showed more concern about allegations involving the former Minister of State for Defence, Senator Musili Obanikoro, Gov. Ayodele Fayose, Mr. Femi Fani Kayode, Gen. Patrick Akpobolokemi and Maj. Gen. Emmanuel Atewa (rtd), charged the EFCC not to be intimidated by cheap blackmail in their effort to ensure sanity into the country's national life.
The Executive Chairman of the group Mr. Debo Adeniran who made the call advised the suspects to subject themselves for judicial proceedings in order to establish their innocence rather than engaging in ‘media defence’.
