A former Chief of Army Staff, Lt. General Ishaya Bamaiyi (retd.), said his late boss, General Sani Abacha, did not loot the country’s treasury.
He said stories of Abacha’s loot were a creation of the media.
Bamaiyi stated this while speaking at the launching of a tell-all memoir, “Vindication of a General,” which covers his military career, in Abuja on Thursday, Daily Post reported.
