The entire elite community in the country has been in trenches, mostly throwing vitriolic condemnations against President Muhammadu Buhari over his simpleton reinstatement of Professor Yusuf Usman, the Executive Secretary of the National Health Insurance Scheme (NHIS) who is under investigations both administratively, ordered by the Minister of Health, Prof. Isaac Adewole and, criminally by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).
The Presidency claimed that there was no concrete evidence against the head of Scheme!
This claim can hardly sail a narrow gully least to imagine the avalanche of certain facts to the contrary. The bare fact is that over N919Million was ill-appropriated and squandered under his watch. The Money was said to be illegal payments to some Health Management Organisations (HMOs) and fee for a land that was never approved by the relevant authorities in a grand larceny to illicitly launder public funds.
