The Kano State Governor, Dr. Abduallahi Ganduje, on Sunday in Kano threatened to probe the immediate past administration in the state led by Rabiu Kwankwaso.
The financial irregularities, he said, included illegal land deals, alleged fraud in education sector and road projects.
The decision was informed by a threat by the Kwankwasiyya Solidarity Forum to institute a legal action against Ganduje within 48 hours, if he (the governor) failed to stop wearing of red cap.
