Again, CCB arraigns Saraki over N77m lodgement

An official of the Code of Conduct Bureau, Mr. Samuel Madojemu, told the Code of Conduct Tribunal in Abuja, on Thursday, that the Senate President, Dr. Bukola Saraki, while he was governor of Kwara State, made a lodgment of N77m into his bank account in one day.

Madojemu said the money was paid into Saraki’s account on September 5, 2007.

Madojemu, who is the Head, Intelligence Unit of the CCB, said that as of the time when the N77m cash lodgment was made, Saraki’s monthly salary as governor was N254,412.25.
